CACTUS JACK'S NEWS
Pinball
“Family
Guy” pinball machine has arrived. Please check it out. We have
gotten rid of the Ripley's and replaced it with one of the funniest
shows on TV, “Family Guy.” Please be advised there is profanity, but
this a bar for heaven’s sake.
Music
Starting
Memorial Weekend we will be having creek side music from 2-6 pm
Saturday and Sunday and 9 pm - 1 am on Friday and Saturday nights.
Menu
We have
finished with all of our changes to the new menu. Some hot items are
the sweet potato chips, the airplane burger & hummus. These are all
new menu items so give it a try. We also bought a new potato cutter
for our fries. Thinner and just as good, if not better. For those of
you who wanted alternatives to burgers we hope you like the changes.
Thanks to all the boys in the kitchen for all of your hard work!
Live
Trivia
Friday 5:30 -
8 pm
Sponsored
by New Belgium Brewery and Cactus Jack’s Saloon starting Friday, May
25 we will be having live trivia on the deck. Bring yourself or as
many friends as you like to enjoy great music and figuring out how to
have a buzz and be smart. (I’m still trying to figure that one out.)
Prizes for first place will include one of the following: trip for
two, Broncos tickets, cash and many more…
Recycling
Starting
this month Cactus Jack’s is almost completely green. Our staff has
committed to recycling as much as we can. Since as long as I can
remember we have always recycled brown bottles. We have added
cardboard since last October and clear, green and blue bottles since
early January. This month we will extend it to plastic, aluminum &
paper. Believe me that this is not an easy task for our staff. So
please let them know what a great job they are doing. We will also
begin using paper boxes for to go containers so please once you get
them home either recycle it yourself or bring it back in and place it
with our staff to be recycled. We finally got away from those nasty
Styrofoam containers. Cactus Jack’s is shooting to use bio-degradable
cleaners for windows, toilets and your average cleaning starting in
June. We have also used non-trans fatty oil since October 2005. We
realize that this commitment is inconvenient and costly, but believe
it is our responsibility. If you would like more information
regarding recycling please
contact us. Thank you for all your support
and understanding regarding this issue! If you
have any suggestions or would like to be put on our email list, please
email me.
